Renewal of Notre Dame de Paris
First of all, let's thank all these firefighters mobilized to save the building. Thank you to them, without whom Notre Dame de Paris would be nothing but a disastrous memory today. Thank you to the donors, young and old, who participated in restoring this old lady's dignity and prestige. 4 years of work, 4 years of sharing, 4 years of sweat, 4 years of fear, 4 years of complicity, and finally 4 years of friendship. They say all these companions, great builders, and workers (architects, scaffolders, rope access workers, carpenters, roofers, cabinetmakers, stained glass artists, stonemasons, sculptors, restorers of works of art, .. that they will never relive this exceptional period of 4 years. This cathedral had become, their fiancée, their wife, their endant,. Today, they are proud and they can be, they also certainly have a free spirit loaded with so many memories and anecdotes. They gave us back their "Notre Dame". Thank you to them. We can be proud to have, in France, quality craftsmen, great showmen of know-how. Long live Notre Dame, long live the firefighters, the companions of duty and other great builders....
