I love taking photos like this. My husband just rolls his eyes. Luckily the reflection covers the "look" up and I cropped out his smirk!

Process
A solid paper from APP Melic was used as the foundation of the page. The photo was clipped to the frame mask, duplicated two more times with the blending modes changed to screen and soft light (reduced opacities). Artsy Transfers Melic_4 was added to the page. Some of the layers were duplicated and moved around. The darker blue layers were duplicated with the blending mode changed to screen for a lighter blue. I used a layer mask and the gradient tool to soften up the edges. A layer from Artsy Transfers Melic_1was added. An overlay from APP Melic was also added (lighten up). Splatters and stains from MM Melic 1 were placed around the page. The stick from the umbrella was extracted and then layered under the photo. Word art, textures, stains a mermaid brush and dimensional embellishments completed the page.
