This is the third in a series of six using a photo of a barn and video stills of people and a field screen-snapped from my daughter's recent music video. With all of the compositions in this series, I've been montaging the photos in relative position first, and then fleshing out the rest of the designand creating a flow--with Artsy Transfers. I've found myself deconstructing the transfersI use a few in each pieceby moving the various layers all over the place, both below and above the photos. Working like this there's also a lot of blending going on, both with different modes and layer masks to get rid of all the awkward lines and edges. In this design I did all of that first and then added the multimedia elements. I also rediscovered my stack of page overlays and stacked a couple on top to give extra definition before calling it done for now.
