Marian Marsh(1913-2006) - She was born in Trinidad and with World War I,the family moved to Boston.During the mid 1920s they moved to the West Coast. Marian soon entered the movies.She was selected as one of the WAMPAS Baby Stars of 1931.She took several film offers in Europe which lasted until 1934.She enjoyed working in England and Germany,as well as vacationing several times in Paris.Back in the United States,Marsh starred in a string of successful films at Warner Bros.When her contract expired in 1936,Marsh once again freelanced for several years,appearing steadily in B-movies.She retired in 1959.When asked how she'd like to be remembered in 1998,the modest,ever-gracious star simply replied, "For doing my best.I think anything I've ever tried,I tried to do my best.In the end, that's all you can do!"
