Journaling reads: Cora was thrilled when Pops told her it was time to carve the pumpkin, but when Pops handed her the spoon to scoop the seeds out of the inside, she didnt seem to like the gooey mess. She went about her task making funny faces occasionally sticking out her tongue. Once the insides were scooped out, she directed Pops just were to cut the face on the Jack-O-Lantern.

The Process: Annas Artsy Template made it easy. I placed a background paper, and then began chaning the colors of the various layers on the template. I attached the photos to the photomasks, blended the larger image, attaching it to another template layer, and reduced its opacity. I added the title, and the journaling, and then began with the elements, the stitches along the left of each photo, and the work strips. I added the PaintedDates brushes under the framed photos, placing them on Blend Mode Overlay and added the LoopDaLoop at the base of the framed photos. I finished up by adding the descriptive words amidst the title, and by dotting the Is with the dark orange brads.
