I had a little fun and sent out invitations to family members last year.
Our little DGS was going to be overseas for his 1st Christmas so we had an early Christmas Dinner at our place. To make it extra special Jack won the Annual Pre-Christmas test run. For those of you who don't know about this each year Santa does a test run to make sure that everything goes smoothly on Christmas Eve. The elves choose a lucky child to practice on - last Christmas Jack's name was chosen and the invitation was sent. To make it even more magical we were chosen to host this Dinner. Who knows...this year it could be your child or grandchild.
The small print reads
"The aim of the run this year is to ensure the sleigh is in top working order and that the reindeer manage to fly, navigate and land with as little noise as possible and to take off without leaving a trail of damage behind. NASA will once again track the flight route to ensure everything goes as smoothly as anticipated".
