Script:
The pinyon pine nut, a popular snack food of the American Navajo people, savory after roasted, is believed to be a good source of protein and other nutrients. The nuts are about 1/2" long and known as pinones, pine nuts, Indian nuts, Christmas nuts & pinyon or pion nuts.

Journaling:
As always, I was drawn to the little pinyon cones and imagined seeing one tiny nut fall from each petal on the cone.
I do believe I can see those nuts falling now ..... Always informative in a most beautiful way. I love how your frame just marches off the page ..

what a wonderful little story page. Not sure I've ever noticed a pinyon pine. Love the beads!

Beautiful! A botany lesson and a Christmas page! Love the beaded threadz and plastic pockets!

Love the soft colors that you used--as always, it is wonderful to learn these bits of information from your pages.
