On Thursday we were lucky to see several pheasants. Although it was no big thing that they were in the fields near the refuge, it was always a surprise to also find them among the reeds at the edge of the water, as we think of them as upland birds.

Love the title work and touches of the orange/red! We use to have pheasants in our backyard. But haven't seen or heard one in 20 years.

DK, the Radiant paper beautifully complements the pheasants! I don't think I've ever seen a pheasant, but I haven't seen many of the birds you've featured! Need to get some binoculars and head out!

These are such gorgeous birds, my uncle love to hunt but I just cant eat the birds I go bird watching to see - love the red from the paper to bring out the red of the bird - beautiful!
