Journaling says: The Birds decided it was time to get the boys a pet when
they moved to Tennessee! They had this idea that they wanted
a BOXER named DIXIE. When they got to Tennessee, they were
delighted that at the pound, there was a BOXER named Dixie!!
IT MUST BE PROVIDENCE! They brought her home--over
Noah's objections at the last minute he said "I DON"T WANT
A DOG--I WANT A CAT!!
Dixie turned out to be a CRAZY dog--They even thought about
renaming her MARLEY!! I don't think even Marley, though spent time
on the roof of the house (don't ask!) Despite repeated attempts at
escaping, she still has a home with the Bird Family!
After awhile, they moved to Kansas--and a Kitty found them!
She made herself quite comfortable, and after about 2 weeks, the
kitty had four babies!! So Noah is now a happy camper!! He finally
got his CAT--plus a bonus!
