Found some gorgeous grocery store roses the other daythey opened up beautifully too. And they smelled amazinglynotes of rose, geranium and lemongrass. (I worked at a cosmetic company once.) I've never smelled such fragrant roses. Plus they were only a dollar each! Made my inner flower freak do her happy dance.

Process notes:
Bliss was the perfect APP to use with my grocery store roses. I had already processed my iPad photo with several filters from the app Enlight to give it a soft painterly look. I opened up Artsy Paper No. 4, placed my photo on the layer above, added a mask and then blended the roses into the background. I duplicated the masked photo three times and played with blending modes, ended up using normal, soft light and overlay. I added transfers from the same APP to both sides and underneath the roses. Added texture transfers from the APP to give some depth and dimension. Final touch was adding the word strip and using the blend mode of multiply to blend it in.
Thanks so much for looking.
