Journaling:
I know that when the dishes start to pile up in the sink, the laundry
overtaking our house is needing its own postal code and that the everyday clutter just gets too much to handle, I start to feel overwhelmed. I
start to knit pick at every single thing that doesnt get done
and get frustrated and feel like you dont do anything around the
house. The truth is though, you do so much more than I give you credit for. I apologize for all these moments, yet youre still understanding. When I work evenings, you always make sure the dishes are done. You never make me take out the garbage. Ive never had to mow the lawn. Emptying the dishwasher is never something I have to ask you to do. You let me sleep in on days that I need it and never complain about not sleeping in yourself. You will always run over to Dairy Queen to get me my favorite treat and playing with our children and having a good time is always high on your list of priorities. You do all these things and so much more without ever batting an eye. Over the years, Ive come to accept that pile of dirtyt clothes sitting beside your dresser and that the bed doesnt always get made. Because I know that you always try to work as a team and that sometimes those things are unimportant. Youre the best husband a wife could ever ask for. You thin
