I don't remember a formal courtship. We instantly jived the moment we met on our first date. It felt like it was not our first time to go out, we were so at ease and relaxed with each other. From then on, we knew in our hearts that we were meant for each other. It was December and a perfect time to be in love. Succeeding dates only proved how much we clicked. However, after several weeks, we had a sort of farewell date in Antipolo as he was about to head back to Chicago in the first week of January. We were inside his car after dinner, staring at the stars and chilling to good music, when we decided that we were officially a couple. The year 2000 was about to end and since we both love the number 8, we picked January 8 of the following year as our official bf/gf monthsary. I wouldn't say that the courtship officially ended as well. The months that followed only proved how much we cared for each other. After Chicago came a trip to Australia for him and the relationship was again tested but it passed with flying colors. A few more months passed before we became engaged. And then started a different level of courtship.
