This is my childhood home (my dad's prize possession, his '34 Ford in the driveway). I grew up in one of those small rural communities where no one locked their doors and kids roamed everywhere without fear. My peaceful place!
It is really a peaceful place. It looks like a movie scene. I grew up in Athens, not in a rural community, but in sixties, still in seventies and eighties we still didn't lock our doors. Everything is different today. Love your photo and the car.
Great picture!! That place must be heaven, look today on TV what a criminal world, also here in the Netherlands, look at Sirie, mostly innocent women and children they are constantly on the run, following is the belief, ridiculous! When I see this I can cry and grateful with all the luxury we have.
