Paternal Grandparents

Although I do not know much about my father's parents, I find it kinda spooky how much my oldest brother looks like my grandfather!

I used Anna Aspnes = ArtsyTransfers Plumera http://www.oscraps.com/shop/ArtsyTransfers-Plumera.html

Journey WordART Mix No.1

I opened my paper and placed my photo where I was happy with it. Then I adjusted the B&W photo and added a light tone to it to better match the colours of this Palette. I then added the FotoBlendz Overlay and attached my photo to it. I then opened up the Artsy Transfers and moved them around and hid some of the layers that I did not want. I then added my elements and a couple more transfers. I opened a couple of the brushes and made them the different colours of this palette and placed them in various places around the photo. I finished off with the WordArt and my journaling.
What a fantastic heritage page, the background that you've created is gorgeous, I love the journaling and the beautiful elements!! Well I also don't know so much of my grandparents, at that time there where not so many pictures as today.

Fabulous heritage page. Love the textures...and that little pink rose cluster. Sweet journaling. We have a similar "skipped a generation" in looks story. If you look at a photo of Dave's father in his early 30's he looks exactly like his grandson--our son. The only way you could tell the difference is by the condition of the photos, and that Andy is taller than his grandpa was.

Beautiful contemporary styling to the heritage page! Wonderful journaling. Thank you for sharing!

how cool that you can actually see a resemblance - love the photos of your grandparents! love your background and the cluster! beautiful!

Beautiful page, love how you begin, placing your photo and build from there. Because it really is all about the Grandparents.

Your journaling is a wonderful tribute to family. Hope you share this with your brother!

I really like your reflective journaling and hearing about your brother. Amazing how parts of us live on. A gorgeous heritage page.
