This layout was totally inspired by lkdavis (Linda)'s Blog Post http://photostorify.com/change-is-beautiful/.

I have been going through the gallery and studying the layouts of members I admire. After I found Linda's blog yesterday afternoon, I have been experimenting and having a blast.

For this layout, I took a photo of pear tree blooms and applied various filters (Topaz Labs) to it until I liked the result. Then, I clipped the photo to various stains and textures in Anna's template. I played around with blending and opacity on the layers until I was happy.

Journaling: There are not many things I miss about living up north, but one thing I do miss is the blooming of the pear trees in early Spring. My kids and neighbors hated it because of allergies, but God must have blessed me with immunity to Spring allergies when He gave me a love of flowers. There is nothing more beautiful than flowers blooming in Spring and early Summer. It is like a painting happening right before ones eyes, and is something of which I will never tire.
