2004
Dad,
No words could ever truely express how I feel about you as my father. I don't remember a lot about being in the military, but I do know the person you are today is a result of spending a significant amount of your life in the service. I believe by serving our county you have become:
Tolerant; therefore you have taught me to accept the differences in others.
Honest; therefore you have taught me to be truthful in all my dealings.
Honorable; therefore you have taught me to show respect and up hold a strong moral standard.
Fair; therefore you have taught me when to comprise and when to stand firm.
You have also shown me, through your actions, that loving and serving God and family is a priority. Dad, because of you and the qualities you have lived by, I have become the woman I am today. I just hope and pray, I am able to pass these qualities on to my children.
