Our annual Labor Day Week vacation at the Outer Banks in North Carolina. It's become a tradition of ours to fly kites on Jockey's Ridge Sand Dune; the tallest natural sand dune on the east coast. (You can actually see it from outer space). Also the site of the Wright Brothers famous first flight! Each year we buy a new kite at Kitty Hawk Kites (which is right across the street) even though we could easily bring one from home. We've amassed quite a collection over the years. (But that's a story for another layout)!
