Journaling reads: Opening weekend for the Mammoth ski season. Ron hadnt planned on skiing, but I told him since we were going to be in Mammoth, he should ski, as hopefully the lift lines would be short. There wasnt much snow coverage, and only a few lifts were open, but seldom does he turn down time on the slopes. Since he has a season pass, he skied for a little over an hour, he said just enough to not get too sore.
