October 2024 Challenge #7- Wordart
Journaling - What can I say about Shiloh? Well, he is rude. He does seem to grasp the concept of social pleasantries and the courtesy of attempting to engage all parties in a conversation. However, whenever someone outside our immediate "pack" family begins to interact with the humans in the pack, Shiloh begins barking in his loud voice. No- he is not trying to warn the visitors away in an effort to protect us . He is demanding that the visitors personally greet him. He won't stop until they do - - so rude. Try convincing someone this loud 100 pound beast- a breed known for being guard dogs - is quite friendly. Of course, when they relent and offer a greeting, he has to jump up on them - - so rude.
During playtime with the balls, if Bailey's ball takes an errant bounce Shiloh promptly jumps on it. He will pause and look at her as if to say "Heh, watcha gonna do about it." Next, he will do some exaggerated chomping of the balls then gather them both in his mouth and go off to lie down with both balls between his paws - looking smug and content - - such an obnoxious jerk. Poor Bailey has to come running to me to ask for help to get back her ball.
Shiloh does have some manners, though. Almost always after eating he will clean off his muzzle - by wiping it back and forth on your pant legs or if you happen to be sitting, he uses your shirt for a napkin. Then, he will gaze up adoringly at you - and belch - - so rude!
For sure, Shiloh can be a rude obnoxious jerk but he is still much loved.
