Since my only daughter's birthday is right around the corner,I made this page as a memory of her as a little girl. She always loved lily of the valley and grows them in her garden now,but when she was little she called them "cockle shells" and would make up stories frequently mentioning these flowers. She would pick bouquet after bouquet of them and bring them to me to place in a vase to enjoy. Each spring when they are in bloom,we still enjoy their fragrance and beauty together. Although she is much older now,I still think of her "little days" and smile with so much love in my heart.

Process

I imported my image and used inverted masking technique with brushes from the APP and AnnaBlendz Artsy 6. I duplicated this layer and used transfers,stains,paint to build a background layer. A frame from the APP was placed over the image area then I created two clusters,one on each side of the frame with the MultiMedia Hearts and a button on the left and the foliage element and a button on the right.
Some of the transfers and other layers were masked and brushes were used to reveal those areas that I chose.
