Old Poway Park Farmer's Market Pg 2
Journaling reads: Every Saturday, Poway closes down Midland Road to traffic, and sets up the Farmers Market. Four rows of vendors sell everything from local fruits and vegetable, plants, fresh cut flowers, nuts, beans, homemade breads, cookies, even some great dog biscuits that Cricket really enjoyed. There is often times music from local artists, fresh Mexican food for breakfast and lunch, fresh brewed coffee and lemonade. Poway use to set things up in the parking lot, but now that they close down the street, there is more room for parking, and many more vendors as well. Such an enjoyable way to spend a Saturday morning!
