Even before the first leaf fell, I could feel the difference in the air. A freshening. A crispness in the breeze. Not the bite of wintry blusters but just a nip to let us know a new season is at hand.The humid, languidness of the long summer dissapating. Shadows lengthen and the days grow shorter. Everything bursts with it's last beauty as if nature has been saving up for a grand finale. Earth lets itself be inhaled in it's ripeness. I want to see the last leaf fall.
