O17 Day 5 Challenge: A Hard Choice

It was a hard choice to decide whether to let the night heron stay where he was or see the beautiful sunrise reflection on the water. He let me get closer than we thought he would but he flew when I got about ten feet away. At the end of the trail, the hawk also had his limits for us to learn.

You may know I'm no birder, but we have night herons on the pier every night :) So I would go for the beautiful sunrise! Great color here, and I love those dots!
