Margaret worked beside her mother on the family farm. She did not follow her sisters into the factories during the war. She shared with me the family tree and stories. As with her generation, she had a strict sense of acceptable behavior and would leave out questionable events and secrets. ca. 1940

ArtPlay Hinge Collection
APP Hinge Artsy Paper creates the foundation. The photo was duplicated and clipped to the Hinge FotoBlendz 1-2. One photo was converted to black and white. A mask was added to the layer so parts of the sepia photo could show through the mask. The body of the figure was masked and roughly extracted. It was blended into the ground. (I liked that she is wearing a pant suit!) Splatters and overlays from the B folder were added for texture and interest. The elements are from the palette and the MM leaves.

Beautiful nostalgic page..using the green MultiMedia and the WordART adds so much.Love the journaling too..

This is just so classy, and classic! I love her clothes (pants and cute shirt). The blending on this is just stunning!
