This is the first spread in a new album project documenting our recent family vacation. We started at an inn on my husband's old military base, the Presidio in San Francisco, before hunkering down in a house we rented up the coast. The templates did the job for this spread pretty much as is--I did have more photos than called for, but I just duplicated frames and shoehorned them in as needed. I also had a lot of journaling, so I shifted layers upward to accommodate it. I like dropping things in the gutter when I know I'll be printing a project in lay-flat mode, so used a Hipster Plume Fotoblendz to blend in the flag. These Fotoblendz really work well with the Template Album. I recolored the stains and hipster plumes, and then added a few embellishments. to finish up.
