This is the tenth spread in the album documenting our recent family vacation. All the kids have now sent me their oodles of photos, so I have an abundance of riches. It is great to see things through their eyes, and this is going to be a looooong album, even longer than I had previously intended.

Most of the effort in this spread went into deciding on the colors for the text blocks and then into embellishing. I added the big compass to frame me walking on the beachit really was a strange place and the compass seemed to fit thematically.

Lucky you, to have both your own and your children's photos. Love that compass frame-so clever!

Great family album, now will you print and duplicate for each kid? Most of my albums are made for my boys. One is good at sending me pictures of his travels. For the other I have to download pix from Facebook! They are very random and I use Shutterfly for them. I don't Journal or add much word art for the pictures of trips I don't join. I order two alums each, one for me and one for them.
