Artsy Layered Template No. 204 https://www.oscraps.com/shop/Artsy-Layered-Template-No.-204.html

Saw this palette and thought of beach photos. I went to the beach this past weekend to capture the sunrise and then take more pictures in the golden light that follows. That is the time I captured a few pictures of the Nubble Light.

Process. I started by adding Solid Paper 1 to my page. I then placed my photo of the lighthouse on the page moved the straight bottom edge to the bottom of the page. I used a mask to mask away bits that didn't work. I changed the Blend mode Darken on the photo. Next, I took a picture of just the lighthouse tower and placed it behind the focal photo. I enlarged it and used Blend mode Color Burn and reduced the Opacity to 20%.

I moved two of the tissue textures onto the page placing one over the tower at the bottom and one slightly off-center on the right side. I added blue to the larger texture using Edit>Fill. I placed a GoldPaint2 over the rock on the right, enlarged it and applied Blend Mode Color Dodge and reduced the Opacity to 85%. I duplicated this transfer and move to the rocks on the left side. I thought they made it look like the sun shining on the island. I placed GoldPaint1 behind the focal photo between the house and tower and reduced the Opacity to 75%.

I moved the three shells onto the page, decreased their size and made them appear to be placed on a ledge of rocks. The starfish I placed on another rock.

I type the title Noble Guardian. As the words where offset I placed the white flower in the offset adding a bit of blue to the flower using Edit>Fill. Above the title, I place one of the Subtle Quotes.
I cannot resist a lighthouse layout, and this one is particularly beautiful. The texture is just right.

This is my new favorite of yours, Joan! Love the full-page scene, blended background, and soft tissue texture anchoring the quote! Superb!

I love the feeling of solidity and timelessness you brought to the scene. Great page.
