Journaling: I always knew you were meant for amazing, awesome things. Even as a child you were open to trying anything, from climbing up the wall to sticking your head between the slats of my four-poster bed. Nothing could faze you, even if you bumped your head so many times and landed in the hospital for the strangest reasons. I think all of that was really to prepare you for this ginormous step youre now about to take: leave the comfort of the country to work in Singapore. Forge your own path and truly live on your own. Im so proud and excited for you, but Id be lying if I didnt say Im also scared of what can happen. I freely admit its also because Im going to miss you so freaking much! At the end of the day, I know I will send you off with a smile and a kiss. I know I will. But know youll also carry a part of my heart with you. And that part will miss you so much and wish you were near to hug. And all I can do is pray so hard, that however weve been raised is more than enough to take you through this next step in your life. I AM excited about the possible adventures youll create--I know theyll only highlight what I already know: that youre an amazing and awesome woman!
