Ever since I was a little girl, on Christmas Eve we've read the story of Jesus' birth from the bible, and acted out the nativity. Some years it's involved costumes and lines... other years we keep it simple. As I've gotten older I've had the privilege of graduating from being a participant, and I get to watch my kids do the play. It's a tradition I adore.
