Demolition derby's are just crazy fun to watch, and even more fun when you know the participants. I just love blending papers too, there's such a tactile quality to it like squishing play doh through your fingers only cleaner. The papers you blended a pure grungy perfection and I love your masks. Intimidating the crowd with a clown, brilliant idea Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional, I love your son's style, but I also get the mom concern, they never really grow up for us.

How fun is this!!!! Demolition Derby is always fun and my favorite part to watch. The excitement of who will be the last car moving. Boys will be boys and I am with your son, as long as he can, keep driving! I really love how you masked the photos and all the movement you created with the elements. I can feel the excitement and crashing going on in your photos.

As his mother it's hard to watch sometimes when he got hard hits but they are fun. hurting for a few days after but he is so tough. One year he had to miss it because he was recovering from a broken back from snowmobile trip in Canada. He has a following so that spurs him on too.

I'm glad he skipped the year he was recovering. Sounds painful. I might skip them all after a broken back. Yep, after that I would be on the mom worry train too.

This is awesome Debby - but scary too! I can see why a Mom would worry - it looks like fun but it looks dangerous too. Your photos really show it all and your background and the strings look like grungy demolition. This is such a great page.
