It was our jobs that forced us together. Cara was in charge of the website for Stambaugh Jewelers and I was the web designer at Psi Prime in charge of jewelers websites. We talked on the phone and via email for months before we finally got to meet at the Independent Jewelers Organization convention in Boston in 2005.

We had an instant bond with each other, which only grew as did our bellies! In 2007 Cara and I found out within weeks of each other that we were both pregnant. It was something in the water she said in an email telling me. We spent our 9 months on line joining mommy sites together and growing our friendship.

After becoming a mom, Cara turned in her diamonds and became Super Mom. She juggles working with her husband Steve and his online Franchise Football game, SportSims, while taking care of her cute little boy Drew.

Besides being creative with scrapbooking, she designs a mean birthday cake! She stayed up all night to create a masterpiece giraffe cake for Drews 2nd birthday. Shes also working on creating her own digi-designs and has a scrap blog and fan page, Cara Olson Designs.

We stay connected via Facebook and emails, because she hasnt figured out how to text yet!! Even thou we live miles apart I consider Cara one of my dearest friends!
