I was hoping to get this LO done before the end of March, but I was having soooooo much fun during the birthday bash, I totally forgot about this ... oooopppppsssss!

Journaling reads:
Pub signs in Britain are like works of art, the painted image reflecting the name, so a bunch of juicy red grapes for The Grapes a prancing white horse for The White Horse. I frequent each of these establishments on a regular basis, but not for the drinks ... each of these pubs also offers a fabulous range of pub-grub! The perfect pasta at The Punchbowl, fiery chilli at The Fox, wicked potatoe wedges at The White Horse, gorgeous granary bread sandwiches at The Grapes, fresh fruit salad at The Fox Inn, excellent scallops at The Eyeston Arms and wonderful beef Wellington at The Wheatsheaf.
Brilliant BRITISH boozers!

Thanks for looking!

H
Oh yes...definately a must do anyway!! You did a fabulous job on this one!! I love the different signs!! ~sigh~ I so hope I get to come there one day!!

Absolutely fabulous! I could not agree more ... we have it a little here but not as grand as you. So happy you made it Sue! (to the pub or finishing the challenge?)

BTW ... did I hear a mouse creeping around last night?

BWAHHHHHHHHHHHHH Sue! So we now know where you are when you're not on line - LOL! I can't afford to drink in my local boozer, what with all the gastropubness, poncy priced wine (that you just KNOW only cost's 3.99 at the Co-op) and ber cool chic decor.

Fabulous LO, girl. A real classic. So glad you played.

Wow, I LOVE this page, Sue!!
I only hope you're not really frequenting one a day.....
I used to live in Dublin Ireland, and we had 4 pubs located within 200 metres of our home!
Cheers!

Glad you decided to work on this page Sue! It turned out just great!!
Mmmm... scallops! ;)

Thanks, Sue - absolutely love this - showed it to DH and now we're both homesick
Our Sunday was always at the "Bristol Pub" our weekdays at "The Bush" which was around 50 M from our door!!
