My Dad was a career US Air Force sergeant. Our first overseas assignment was to Dreaux Air Force Base, outside of Paris. I don't have very many memories from those days, but luckily, Dad always had a camera in his hand. I scanned some documents to include — my passport photo with my Mom, and my Dad's assignment orders, etc. When I talked to my Dad before I did the page (he's 88), he told me a story of their fears before the trip, which I included on the page.
