My Dad was in the infantry in WWII. While on leave in Bern, Switzerland, he bought this carved bear to bring home to my Mother. Dad and Mom are gone now, but each year the bear joins my family in some aspect of our holiday decor. This year, he is snugged up close to Joseph and keeps watch over Baby Jesus. I love having a physical reminder to keep my Dad's presence near.
