This year can I ask please instead of Summer Sun and Sand could I have instead some winter snow and ice? I dont want to appear ungrateful as I have always enjoyed our Summer Christmas by the pool with Prawns, ham and yummy salad but just once I would love to have Turkey and plum pudding while the snow falls outside the windows. I would love to swap just once the blistering sunny days for snuggles in front of a fireplace with stockings hung about. Instead of beer and ice cold drinks, hot toddy and cider I would like to try. A walk to church on Christmas eve with crunching snow under foot and carolers singing traditional Carols would be a treat. Like I said Santa, I dont want to appear ungrateful of all the wonderful things I already have but just once could I try it the other way. So my Christmas list is this: Snow, winter, Mistletoe and all the cold lovely things that only a Northern Christmas can bring.
