You're still lucky as you have this treasure of a photo. My family did this too. It's a darling photo and I like how the elements add motion in the white space. Also like that background paper with the darkened border.

Thank you so much! Some people in a photo restoration group on Facebook helped me. They colored the photo for me and made it clearer. They edited a few other photos for me as well. It meant so much to me. I am so sorry you lost your photos as well. I know how hard that is.

Oh, Claire! I am so. sorry you lost all of your photos of your younger childhood! Do any relatives have any photos you could get copies of? I got a few from relatives. Thank you so much for your kind comments.
