If you're ever in the Philadelphia area on New Years, you should definately check out the parade. As much a tradition as cheesesteaks and the Liberty Bell. The oldest folk parade in the country. I marched in this parade for about 25 years, (starting when I was ten), until I had children and the time constraints made me have to give it up. We still go every year though to stop and listen
