I Just decided to journal some random thoughts.

I feel like I am finally moving forward from a state of logical next choices, easy and manageable surroundings and a future easily anticipated. After High school I attended University, teachers college after that. My life has been focused, yet predictable. I am finally in a position where I am completely unaware of what the future holds. I am moving out, getting married and preparing for a life with unknown joys and tragedies. Will I get a job? Where will I live? Will I remain in my chosen career forever? Will children be in my future? All these things are unknowns. I will choose not to worry, only anticipate the future. I will remain happy in whatever I have today. I have been given so much, right here in the present. As I move forward I remember one of my favourite books , Oh The Places You Will Go by the talented Dr. Seuss. His words sum up this point in my life. I am finally at the point of moving forward and deciding where it is I want to go.
You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself
any direction you choose.
You're on your own.
And you know what you know.
And YOU are the one who'll decide where to go
