Our own Sally (cellomom) has a 40 day gratitude challenge going on here:

I have fallen behind on doing this everyday. So I decided to make a page that reflected the things in my life that I am most grateful and thankful for and why they are so important to me!!
I used this fabulous Collab by PaisleyPressDesigns and KathrynWilsonDesigns

The journaling reads:
Not having kept up with my daily gratitudes, I would like to make this page to make up. I would like to tell you the reasons in my life that I am MOST grateful for and why.
1. God, for always showing me the way. I know that I have strayed many times, but the light and the path never leaves me.
2. My Husband. He has been my best friend for 20 years. He has been a stong, supportive husband, father, and provider for our family. I told him when I met him I wanted to grow old with him and sit on the front porch in the rocking chairs and "gripe" at each other, only to say I love you every night before we go to sleep. We have never gone to bed mad at each other (maybe aggrevated). I feel that I love him too much to be mad or angry with him. He has been the earthly constant and my rock! I love this man with my entire whole self and heart.
3. My children. My children were true blessings in my life. At times when I thought there was no one else, I could look into those sweet smiling faces and know that they loved me unconditionally, and would always. Helping them grow into the beautiful women they have become is my accomplishments. I feel proud to say those are my girls!
4. My grandchildren. If I ever thought that little people could bring so much happiness to my life, I could not have imagined how much effect these little people would have on me! They changed my life. When I came to a time in my life that I was unsure where or what I suppose to be doing, my first grandchild came into my life. Oh what a wonderful moment. I was there when he was born, I held him before anyone else did, and I never spent a night away from him (as my daughter and he lived with us then) for over 3 years. My second grandchild came and he was 2 months premature. I stood with my daughter day after day to watch him grow and become stong enough to come home. He was her miracle and changed her life in so many wonderful ways. Since then, I have had two more come into my life. They are often with me and I love every minute I spend with them.
5. My parents. They are the people that showed me the way. They have an undying love for me that has NEVER failed me when I needed it the most. Even in moments of my life where I felt I had disappointed them, they never said that, and only encouraged me to do better and move on in my life. Having parents like mine is the reason I am the person I am today. God will reward them for doing a flawless job of raising their two children (now I did not say that the children were flawless...LOL)
6. My grandparents. These people were the hardest working, honest, loving and moral people I have ever known. They were simple and very down to earth. The finer things in life were something they had no use for. They taught a lesson in every conversation I ever had with them. I miss them dearly, but feel so lucky to have had them in my life for well into my adulthood.
7. My friends (In real life and Internet). Sometimes there are things that need to be shared and enjoyed with people other than family. I have been blessed to have the most wonderful people come into my life. My best friend was there for me when my daughter was born, and stayed by my side for some of the most difficult times I ever faced! I don't live very close to her any longer, but cherish every moment I get to spend with her. My Internet friends show me more support than I ever thought possible, and that to me is just the most amazing thing! One day I hope to meet you all!!
I know this list is not that long, but it is what I am so thankful and grateful for.
Thanks if you took the time to read and thanks for looking! Linda
