Today when we picked you up from Rita's you announced, 'I had the best day. Can you guess why?" Your Dad replied with, "Because you got kissed by a lot of boys?" "No." You said, "But close." So we continued to play along. "You kissed a lot of boys?" I guessed. "No but close." I tried again with, "Kale kissed you?" This time you told me I was real close. So I tried one more time, "You kissed Kale." "No but I will tell you because it is just so awesome." Finally, out you come with, "Kale asked me to be more than friends." Your dad and I shared a glance and grin finding your comment to be so adorable, although we are not quite sure what it means to be more than friends at 7 years of age.
