Here's my recent May desktop in honor of my mom and any moms current or past... I love making and using the monthly desktops to brighten my room and help me remember at the end of a long work day or week, all the things I have to be happy about. I kept borders around this so I could keep my icons around the edges as I normally have them organized.
This photo is of a recent visit in March when my mom came here from Chicago to warm her bones. I took the day off from work and we spent a really nice day shopping and chasing down goodies at a newish outdoor mall (we found great cupcakes and had a wonderful lunch). That's what it's about after all....
