It's been three weeks now that you have traveled out of town. Though you are home on the weekends it just isn't enough time. I want to be the supportive wife of a successful man but it's getting really hard. I am well aware that I should count my blessings... and I do. You could be in the military and stationed far, far away from us and I am very thankful we are not in that situation. It still doesn't make the time we spend apart any better. My heart aches for you when you're not around. The weight of the world feels like it falls upon my shoulders. I feel rooted to a fault. I long for your phone calls yet I know I don't have much to say when we finally get into contact. I don't want you to hear me complain. I don't want you to feel worse than you already do for having to spend so much time away from me and the boys. Our situation is temporary, I know this.... but oh how I wish you were home. I miss you.
