Inspiration - The almost full moon shining over the snow in the field was eye-catching. I had to stop and take a picture. So why not a page.
Start - Artsy Layered Template 175
Paper - Dot Paper was added to template above background
Mask/photo - I added the pictures to the framed masks using Layer>Create Clipping Mask. I used a colored and black and white version of all the photos. I used the black and white version on the front mask and the colored in the back. But the black and white copy to the moon photo I placed above the Dot Paper and applied the Blend Mode Color Burn to the photo. I reduced the opacity of the Dot Paper to 70%.
Layers of the Template - This time, I did not color the layers, although some layer I inverted the color using Control I. I was so pleased that the glow layer fitted exactly over my moon. Some of the layers I turned off. What I wanted from the layers was the effect of a night sky with clouds and snow. (the Dot Paper added the snow). I moved one of the splatter layers hoping it would look like stars and two other to add magical look to the trees.
Elements- I added a snowflake behind the frames in a corner and the other snowflake in another corner created by the frames.
Wordart- Used the Word Art "In the Midst of Winter," which I inverted from Black to White using Control I, as a title.
