Six years ago I sold or threw away nearly everything we had collected over 25 years. Then I ended up buying a few new things that would work in the small modern apartment I (then we) ended up in. Then we bought a rambling mid-century house on an island! The place runs on Facebook (yeah, I know, I know ..) and its very active trading pages. So when I saw this mid-century gem I had to grab it, even after I found it was coming from a mouldering old house we had visited during an 'open home' with friends who are also considering moving to the island.
