Journaling Reads: I collect memories. I photograph memories. I document memories. But do I create memories? This is a question I struggle with. Am I so busy taking pictures and making scrapbook pages that I have substituted documenting memories for making memories? Because I am the one photographing the memories, I am seldom involved in them. I look at every experience as a scrappable moment. I try to capture the moments between my friends and family so that they will be rememered for years to come. But where are my moments?

They are in my heart and they are in these pages too. My face might not be in the photos, but the spark of a memory is. Dont feel sorry for me. I am doing what I love. Making memories with and for the people I love.
