Journaling: There is so much about you I already dont remember. It seems like only yesterday you were here and at the same time it seems like youve been gone forever. I remember some things though that I will never forget. I remember that you always felt safe. I remember eating strawberry pancakes with whip cream when we got to visit. I remember the sound of the creek down below your house and how cool it was to watch you feed the deer who were so used to you that they would walk up and eat out of your hand. You instilled in me the love of live theater. You would save old clothes and wigs so we would have stuff to play dress up. Some of my most treasured childhood memories are connected to you and the time we spend with you. I will always hold in my heart regrets that I didn't spend more time with you when I became an adult. I let life take me away from you in what would be the last years of your life. I will always be sorry for that. But I will always till the end of my days be thankful for every moment I spent with you.
