We give it a silly name. We make t-shirts and joke. But underneath it all, we are taking time to remember those we have lost. The Wade Cemetery Crawl takes place every Memorial Day. We visit the graves of mothers, fathers, siblings, and grandparents who have passed. And though it seems like a morbid tradition, it helps us reflect on the past and look forward to the future. We laugh, cry, and tell stories. We spend the day together, with those who mean the most. Thats our tradition...thats our act of remembrance.
