Now that our children have left home, my sister and I have more time to travel a little further after our annual cousin reunion in the Netherlands.
Scotland is planned for next year. We will take the ferry from Amsterdam to Newcastle and then travel by train from there.
To combat the potentially chilly weather, I have knitted myself a jacket. I will wear it with green corduroy trousers, a checked blouse and my mustard yellow shoulder bag.
