October AJ Challenge Week 2 (Embrace)

The October Challenge, Week 2 has been posted.
I was inspired by the first quote on the first mood board page. "Embrace the day, you'll never get it back.".

We had just returned back to the pier from a day of boating with friends. Chuck caught that opportunity to "throw in a line" while the rest of us were joking around. He was never happier than when he was fishing. This is one of my favorite pictures of him and his beautiful smile.

Oh Cheryl, :heartpumppink: :sad1: This has me in tears. What a beautiful smile! The wings and how you masked the photo over them yet blended them in, perfection. I love the acceptance journaling but oh it had me in tears. Beautiful layout!

Ohmygosh, Tracy, this one had me in tears while I was creating it. It's about acceptance, but that smile - I can't stand it - he was such a special man. I HAD to use this picture - it's absolutely one of my favorites of Chuck. Thank you, my friend. :heartpumpred: :heartpumpred: :heartpumpred:

Thank you my dear Betty Jo. I JUST sent you a link to this challenge, but I see you found it. I miss Chuck terribly, but have had such an outpouring of love and support here at the O. It has helped me tremendously - thanks for giving me yours, too. I know you know what I'm going through. :heartpumpred::heartpumpred::heartpumpred:

I cannot imagine what it must feel like to lose the love of your life. Such a lovely layout. I love the word around the edge of the layout.

Thank you so much, Belle. It's very difficult - even though you know it's a possibility, you don't want to think about it. He was a wonderful husband.

Thank you, Evelyn. It's not easy and nighttime is the hardest. All of you lovely O family members have helped me more than you'll ever know.
