The highlight of spring is when the Showy Pink Ladyslipper blooms. Even hubs watches for it to appear. The state flower of Minnesota, this one was bred in a nursery. It's illegal to take them from the wild unless a person is licensed, and they are rescuing if the habitat is going to be developed e.g. highway construction.

This is just gorgeous in every way. I’m so excited we get to see your lady slippers. The flowers take center stage for sure and your minimal use of men’s emphasizes that. So good.I’m glad you joined the challenge!

Wow, these gorgeous flowers look like I can just reach out and touch them. The background makes the perfect canvas to display these stunning blooms. I love the out of bounds framing. These blooms are definitely worth waiting for.
